The motion of paired [tag:galaxy]galaxies[/tag] has allowed, for the first time, an estimate of neutrino mass and revealed an imbalance between particles and antiparticles.

Neutrinos are invisible and almost weightless particles. It turns out we can ‘weigh’ them by watching galaxies draw closer. The new method showed neutrinos are slightly more massive than thought and hinted at a skew between them and their antiparticles. This changes our picture of cosmic evolution.
