To take a picture, you usually need light. But physicists have learned to obtain an image by completely getting rid of photons that touched the object. Using only moments of absolute darkness, they reconstruct the picture — it's like hearing music from the pauses between notes.

🎯 The term 'ghost imaging' arose because the picture seems to float separately from the illuminating beam — just like a ghost.
