Scientists have figured out how long it takes for a black hole to completely disappear and return all the captured information.

A black hole doesn't vanish instantly: after evaporation, it leaves a 'white remnant' that exhales captured information for ages, like a dying star. This means that mini-holes from the dawn of time could be quietly glowing today, and we might spot them.
