Gravity Doesn't Always Respect Cosmic Censorship
Ordinary gravity, as described by general relativity, behaves like a soft rubber membrane. When a massive star exhausts its fuel and collapses, it deforms this membrane so strongly that a black hole forms — a region where spacetime curvature becomes infinite, and nothing, not even light, can escape.
