In the quantum world, the arrow of time behaves like a coin: it can land on heads and tails at the same time.

Physicists have found a way to picture the arrow of time as a tossed coin that can land heads and tails at once. Quantum clocks would then ‘tick’ in both directions simultaneously. An experiment with an interferometer and magnetic fields lets us test this unusual idea. And if you peek into the Dirac equation, matter and antimatter turn out to be just different poles on a sphere of time.

🎯 If you picture time as a quantum coin, then in one of the realities, a broken cup really does reassemble — we just never see that side.
