At the edges of galaxies, gravity is so weak that it begins to behave not as usual, but obeys a strange symmetry linked to the size of the entire universe. A new theory explains this without dark matter and may change our understanding of the cosmos.

🎯 The critical acceleration at which gravity changes its behavior is about a hundred billion times smaller than what we feel on Earth. That's like the difference between a thunderclap and the flutter of a butterfly's wing.
