In the first moments, the Universe may have 'boiled', generating gravitational waves — tremors of space itself. For a long time, calculations of these waves got tangled in mathematical conventions. A new approach cleans up the computations of unnecessary dependencies, allowing us to hear the true voice of the cosmos.

🎯 If we imagine our Universe as a giant inflatable ball, then gravitational waves from the ancient 'boiling' are microscopic vibrations on its surface, detected by instruments sensitive to displacements thousands of times smaller than an atom.
