In the early Universe, giant stars were born. Sometimes, black holes fell into them, creating 'quasi-stars' — glowing cocoons the size of the Solar System. JWST found such objects as mysterious 'red dots' in distant galaxies.

🎯 A quasi-star weighs as much as 10,000 Suns, but its outer layers are so thin that it's almost transparent — a true cosmic ghost.
