Scientists found a hint of six extra spatial dimensions in Planck satellite data.

Right after the Big Bang, space may have been nine-dimensional rather than three-dimensional. The extra dimensions quickly shrank, but they managed to leave an imprint in the polarization of the ancient light. Planck satellite data shows a suspicious asymmetry—possibly the first trace of hidden worlds.

🎯 If extra dimensions exist, they could be around 10⁻³³ cm in size—a million billion times smaller than an atomic nucleus.

🎬 In the movie Interstellar, a five-dimensional space lets the characters travel through a wormhole and interact with the past—an artistic interpretation of extra-dimensional ideas.
