About 300 million years ago, Titan, Saturn’s main moon, shifted from its place – and a cosmic 'accident' gave birth to the rings. Moons collided, crumbled into ice and dust, and from the debris Hyperion was assembled. That’s how gravity played a game of planetary billiards.

🎯 The total mass of all Saturn's rings is roughly equal to an icy moon about 400 km in diameter – like Mimas.
