Usually, a quantum processor is like a temperamental orchestra: tuning the violins drowns out the cellos. But physicists have found a way to conduct so that every instrument sounds clear. In a single chip, they achieved 99.98% accuracy for single notes and 99.93% for duets. Such a 'quantum ensemble' paves the way for computers that can correct their own errors.
