Astronomers have found a tiny invisible object weighing a million Suns in the Universe — by how it warped the light from a distant galaxy. This “gravitational magnifying glass” allowed them to weigh it with an accuracy of 3%. That’s how we can hunt for dark matter and understand what small galaxies are made of.

🎯 This object’s mass — roughly a million Suns — is a drop in the ocean by cosmic standards. For comparison, the Milky Way is a million times heavier, weighing in at about a trillion Suns.
