A single machine learning model has been created that, after a short tuning, predicts the properties of any quantum state of light from mere specks of data.

Scientists have created an AI model that looks at quantum light and instantly says: 'That's Schrödinger's cat, it's both alive and dead at the same time.' Trained on simple examples, it easily recognizes even the most entangled states. This 'universal template' will speed up the creation of secure quantum networks.
