Quantum trick: by deliberately distorting the signal, scientists hear it better. Error correction usually fixes glitches, but here it sifts out noise, leaving a faint echo that reveals hidden signals. This can capture whispers from the early Universe or barely noticeable nudges of dark matter.

🎯 This method grew out of the fight against errors in quantum computing. Its transfer to the sensor domain was so non-obvious that the idea was initially rejected as contradicting the logic of amplification.

The measured signal becomes proportional to the cube of the original amplitude: a tenfold weakening turns into a thousandfold. This is the price for nearly complete noise elimination, but it pays off through long-term data accumulation.
