The Universe did not explode once — it breathes like blacksmith’s bellows. Compression to Planck-scale sizes and a bounce ignite inflation, like a blast of oxygen into a furnace. Two scalar fields — the handle and the valve — forge a new cosmos from the ashes, and gravitational waves from past cycles may already be trembling in the polarization of the cosmic microwave background.

🎯 If inflation indeed repeats, then the observed homogeneity of our Universe may be the echo of inflationary phases in countless previous cycles, and gravitational waves from those eras may have left a faint imprint in the polarization of the cosmic microwave background.
