In 23 tiny galaxies, they tested which of two alternatives to dark matter is more accurate. Gravity emerging from entropy and information outperformed modified Newtonian dynamics by 5.2 sigma — which is very solid. Dark matter might be just a temporary patch, with the real answer hidden in how the Universe encodes reality.
