Cosmic rays hitting Antarctic ice produce radio flashes similar to neutrino signals. Scientists have created a simulation to thoroughly study this noise, so they can flawlessly catch ghost particles from deep space in the future.

🎯 Antarctic ice at depths of 1–2 km is more transparent to radio waves than air: a signal can travel ten kilometers with almost no loss.
