A regular rangefinder shines one beam and catches the echo. But if you take many sources that not only shine together but pulse synchronously, and listen to the chorus of their reflections — the measurement error shrinks dramatically. Thus, light working collectively enables ultra-precise LIDARs for drones and engineers.
