Astronomers have found a giant trail in a galaxy, looking like a contrail from a plane. It stretches for 80,000 light-years! Such a wake could have been left by a black hole or a small galaxy that flew through a gas cloud.

🎯 It takes light 26,000 years to travel from one end of the wake to the other — that's longer than the distance from Earth to the center of our Galaxy.
