A disk of ice swirled around a young Jupiter. Ordinary warmth turned simple ices into the building blocks of life — complex organics. And when icy moons were born from that disk, they inherited the ready-made recipe. Perhaps their oceans already carry these molecules, and soon JUICE and Europa Clipper will check.
