Calcium atoms in carbon tubes act like Velcro, trapping hydrogen for clean engines.

Hydrogen gas is hard to contain—its molecules are tiny and slip away easily. But if you put calcium atoms inside carbon tubes, they act like Velcro, snagging the hydrogen. This material would make car hydrogen tanks light and safe.

🎯 Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, but on Earth it's almost never found in pure form, so we have to extract it from water or hydrocarbons.
