The sensitivity of radioactive molecules is astonishing: they can even notice the ghostly influence of invisible particles. They are held by light and electricity to 'listen' to how space trembles from new physics. This method will complement giant colliders and possibly reveal the secret of dark matter.

🎯 Lasers cool these molecules to near absolute zero — at this temperature they freeze in place, allowing scientists to 'sniff' them without disturbance.
