Ultralight dark matter can collect in the Sun’s gravitational 'goblet', settling into distinct energy steps.

The Sun acts as a storage bowl for invisible dark matter. Amazingly, in this bowl the matter begins to move strictly along 'steps' — like a staircase in a ghostly castle. The longer we look, the better our chance to catch it.

🎯 Usually quantum systems lose coherence quickly, but the solar bowl extends the coherence of ultralight dark matter to billions of years — comparable to the age of the Universe.
