Physicists have learned to split sunlight into pairs of quantum twins and obtained an image for the first time using only solar illumination instead of lasers.

Ordinary sunlight was split into pairs of twin photons that 'feel' each other at a distance. This made it possible to take a quantum snapshot without a laser. Now, streetlight or even light from distant stars can replace complex optics in quantum cameras. Future space telescopes might get by with just a single sunbeam.
