Astronomers found two pairs of red "eyes" in a distant galaxy — these are growing black holes, hidden so well that without a gravitational lens you'd never spot them. It turned out they wander on the outskirts, not in the center. So galaxies might be teeming with such invisibles, which later merge into a supermassive monster.

🎯 The pair of Red Eyes is separated by 70 parsecs — nearly 30 times less than the distance from us to the Galactic Center. For black holes, that's an extremely tight proximity.
