Usually, the red color of distant objects is attributed to dust. But the James Webb Telescope found a water trace in them, revealing a cold gas envelope instead of a scorching disk. It turned out that the black holes there are ten times lighter than previously thought. Water in space is not only a sign of life but also an accurate temperature gauge.
