A new method uses a quantum landscape to generate images and text without model training.
Abstract

Today’s image and text generation models demand enormous computing power and lengthy training, often operating like «black boxes». A completely different approach has been proposed: a quantum method that requires no parameter training. The desired outcome is encoded as the ground state (lowest-energy configuration) of a Hamiltonian (energy operator) built from local rules, and then the global system is solved. Thanks to quantum superposition and entanglement, coherence is achieved—much like composing music, where each note influences the entire symphony rather than simply playing in sequence. This opens the door to more efficient and transparent generative models.

Conventional neural networks learn from thousands of examples, burning hours and gigawatts. Physicists have found a quantum workaround.
