The Invisible Conductor of the Super-Puff Planet System
The three planets in the Kepler-51 system have long intrigued astronomers: they are Saturn-sized but less dense than water. These 'super-puff' worlds, with masses no more than ten Earths, are like cosmic dandelions — massive yet almost weightless. Their orbits are arranged like musicians in an orchestra, each playing its part, beating the rhythm with transits.

Quiet Stars, Loud Discoveries
The TESS telescope photographed the sky for a full year, but its standard pipeline skipped over dim stars. The T16 project took the same images and cleaned them from scratch — resulting in 83,717,159 light curves, like EKGs for every star. Planets passing in front of their star briefly dim it, and these dips in the EKGs are what we look for.
A Young Sub-Neptune's Helium Exhale
A balloon someone forgot to tie off deflates before your eyes. That is roughly how GJ 3090b behaves: its hydrogen-helium envelope is leaking into space at a rate that surprised astronomers. The planet is only twice the size of Earth, yet it is shedding gas as if it wanted to get rid of everything superfluous as fast as possible.
